Haralson Sheriff Foundation
“This foundation will allow us to receive donations from individual taxpayers and businesses in Haralson County,” states Sheriff Stacy Williams. “This means that hard earned taxpayer dollars will be kept in and invested in Haralson County. The monies will be used for training and to get new and more advanced equipment which will allow us to better serve our communities.”
Georgia legislation through the Law Enforcement Strategic Support Act, known as the LESS Crime Act, now allows Georgia taxpayers and businesses to claim tax credit for supporting local public safety efforts by contributing to qualified law enforcement foundations. The donation received by qualified foundations can be used for training, buying and/or maintaining equipment or bonuses. Sheriff Stacy Williams has worked to establish and qualify the Haralson Sheriff’s Foundation LTD to make a way for donations to be received that can be utilized to enhance the safety of our law enforcement officers, and our citizens as well. For those interested in the donation and tax credit, you must be preapproved through the Georgia Tax Center.

Support the purchase of specialized equipment and providing additional professional training and educational opportunities to employees.
Youth Engagement
Support programs like Books for Kids to provide educational opportunities for the youth in our community.

To provide the highest level of service and make our community a safer place to live and work through partnership between the Haralson County Sheriff's Office and citizens.

As the Haralson Sheriff Foundations continues to receive the support of our community we will continue finding new ways to give back to the community and our officers.
